This private invitation only event brings together leadership from around the world and the newest technologies under one roof (okay under a few different roofs). My goal was to create directional signage to ensure everyone got to where they needed as efficiently (and well designed) as possible.
Challenge: Working at large properties creates the necessity for large scale and custom graphics that must be managed by a variety of printers and contractors with custom fabrication skills. The scale of the property also means more opportunity for attendees to get lost.
Solution: I built relationships with 3 different vendors for pre production of directional signage, on site printing, and on site installation so that we could plan ahead of time and also all be on the same page on event day. I also had multiple site visits to get the lay of the land and create a footprint of the hotel to be able to run through logistics with the event manager for event and security planning and execution continuity across teams.
Creative stack: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Design role: Led and executed event branding including: logo, colors, font, and brand assets. Created templates for signage and lead the final execution of signage. Collaborated with various printers and installers during pre production, production, and on site. Supported physical set up of large scale signage and lead and executed physical set up for medium and small signage.
